Peter Menzies, B Ed
Producer

Peter has resided in the Yukon for 27 years and is living proof that just about anyone can learn the fiddle! The Klondyke Fiddle School is Peter's passion to bring fiddle instruction to both public schools and rural Yukon communities. Through his work in the public school system, and in the Klonydke Fiddle School, Peter is building a system of sustainable music education in partnership with First Nations, teachers, parents and instructors.

 
Doug Cotter
Sound Engineer

Along with being an accomplished piano player and performer, Doug has a strong set of technical skills which are put to good use. Doug assists with sound, lighting and recording aspects of the School. He is co-owner of the Whitehouse Cabins and owner of Cotter Enterprises (providing licensed mechanical services).

Ashley Doiron, MA (Sociology)
Administration & Marketing

In 2001, Ashley completed her Master's Thesis on The Role of the Volunteer Sector in Dawson's Community Economic Development Process and now she's helping with a fiddle school. Go figure! Ashley is a strong supporter of music education and appreciation. She brings her exceptional organizational and marketing skills to the team. Ashley is presently a City of Dawson Councilor and co-owner of the Whitehouse Cabins.
